Create a new project

Note

You must have Analyst or higher system access to create a Project.

To create a new project:

  1. Select Projects from the AQtive Guard menu bar.
  2. Select Create a New Project.
  3. Give your new project a unique name and meaningful description.
  4. Select the desired Profile. The profile establishes the rules and issue thresholds that will be applied in the analysis.
  5. Set the Max. report versions per slot. This controls the maximum number of past reports saved in this slot before deleting the oldest archived reports.
  6. Select Create Project.

Important

Once a project has been created, you can not change the profile or trace type. To run an analysis using a different profile or trace type, you must create a new project.
