Validate remediation

To view instances, navigate to the Projects tab, the project Overview, or Reports. Here, you can select an issue to view the number of instances discovered and the status of each instance.

On the Issues tab, there are multiple ways to validate that an instance has been resolved:

  • If all failed instances of the rule have been remediated, the rule will no longer appear as a Failed issue. Look for it in the Passed issues group.
  • If some failed instances of the rule have not been resolved, the rule will still appear as a Failed Issue.

    • Expand the issue to verify that the number of failed instances decreased.
    • Select an instance to explore its details.
  • Use the Compare reports feature to compare the current report with the previous version and validate that the remediation of a specific rule or instance was successful.
